Take a tour of our cozy and comfortable home decorated for fall!

Welcome to my fall home tour! This is one of my favorite posts all year.

My decorating preferences overall (from colors to textures) lean toward “fall” anyway, so this is the time of year that feels most like home to me. Really Shines!

I prefer warm, rich colors and accents of brass and wood decor. This time of year, we have more in our house. 🙂

I stacked my wicker pumpkins on the bottom shelf, in a faux leather basket with dried hydrangeas:

The new wall color in our dining area (called Pachyderm by Sharon Williams) was the perfect neutral backdrop for the warm fall colors.

I always incorporate more of these panicle hydrangeas into my fall decor:

The lighter tones in this space make the warmer colors pop. He Tabletop Art Easel One of my favorite finds this year is:

I sprayed it black and then added a cheap print from Etsy for the frame.

I often say that just changing out some pillow covers and throw blankets goes a long way when decorating your home for the season.

I love changing the window seat pillow covers during the holiday season:

I would add — change some pillows, blankets And Bring some flowers and you'll be set! 🙂 I don't do much with my table centerpieces… on a table we use every day the centerpieces will get in the way.

A large vase with dried flowers is easy to move when needed:

I found that amber butter dish at Hobby Lobby a few months ago. (I always get asked about our butter — I've kept mine covered on the counter for as long as I can remember!)

I like to use small railings with hooks (I get my Hultarp rail at IKEA) to hold oven mitts, mugs and small cutting boards in my kitchen. A rattan basket is always full of seasonal stems:

I may use this basket on our front door this Christmas. 🙂 I got this forever before but this Hanging wicker basket is the same.

A mix of rich colors, metallic colors and wood warms up this corner nicely!

And it's still working perfectly — we use this area as a beverage station. It includes everything from coffee to wine:

I've already shared a bit of my fall family room decor this season. I stuck with the traditional color story of brown, rust and burgundy in this space:

I used the same blue pillow covers that I have all year, and added some cute ones. Floral covers with brown, cream and burgundy I found this summer:

They are so beautiful! I also pulled out some of my plaid pillow covers with the same warm tones.

The superstar in our living room is the gorgeous mantel decor:

It has been very cool in the mornings and evenings…perfect for a fire!

When I was taking photos for this tour, I found three of my four animals comfortable and relaxed.
